ALPS

Our Auto-Loading-Packaging-Systems, or ALPS for short, are designed for use with hamburger buns, hoagies, hot dog buns, breadsticks, dinner rolls, and more.  This system will group, index, slice, stack, and bag products at speeds of up to 66 bags per minute.  (Speeds vary based on product type and configuration.)

This unit has a range of options for you to choose from, starting with the technology that we use, then what slicers you want included, and finally the type of guarding that you prefer.

Technology: This ranges from the simple air operated gate/brake, cam operated bagger, and manually adjusted tuckers and bag tables, to a fully servo operated unit.

Slicer section: You get to choose which slicers and how many of each you want in the system.  Options include, horizontal band slicer for a single or double cut, 5 spindle or 7 spindle hinge slicer, 2 spindle or 4 spindle bottom up slicer, a top slicer for vertically sliced hots, a New England Slicer, a bun turner (servo style or simple bump style), and you can even add a hand loading area for products that you prefer to load manually.

Guarding: Choose from perforated aluminum, perforated stainless, or Lexan windows.

Enhance efficiency with the new alps lane balancing assistant

The new ALPS Lane Balancing Assistant is designed to optimize production flow and improve operational efficiency when running individual hamburger buns, English muffins, or bagels.  This intelligent system features a vision-based monitoring solution that tracks product distribution across indexer lanes.  It automatically adjusts six independently driven laning belts to evenly distribute product and maintain balanced lane flow.

Consistent lane balancing is critical to preventing production delays--just one empty lane can halt the entire bun line.  By automating this process, the Lane Balancing Assistant removes the burden from your operators, ensuring smoother, more reliable performance across your system.

  • No slicer but leave conveyor space for future slicer addition
  • Single or dual Horizontal band slicers
  • 5 Spindle or 7 spindle Hinge
  • 2 spindle or 4 spindle bottom up slicer
  • Top Slicer (uses single harbor of blades for top sliced hots)
  • NES for new england sliced rolls (uses two harbors of blades)
  • Bun Turner (bump or servo)

Stacker Bagger Section

  • Flight style (90, 93, or 1")
  • Flight spacing, 24", 27", or 29"

  • Cam operated system or complete servo driven
  • J conveyor or Straight conveyor discharge
  • Servo driven or chain driven discharge
  • 18" or 36" intralox safety break away conveyor after discharge

LAyouts

  • Machine handing is based on operators standing position facing the machine.
    • A Left Hand bagger would be product flowing from right to left
    • A Right Hand bagger would be product flowing from left to right
  • Handing of the discharge conveyor is based on the products point of view when leaving the bagger.
    • If the product moves to the right when leaving the bagger it is a Right Hand Discharge
    • If the product moves to the left when leaving the bagger it is a Left Hand Discharge
